IMHO he is probably the only credible English alternative to Moores, who must now surely and again, be on borrowed time.

Moores was shit first time round, how has he got another go. Colly and Ottis should be the next limited overs coaches imo.

You can kinda tell he'll be better than moores ;)
If chunky reads my posts again I didnt say that he should be appointed. What I said was that he is IMHO the only credible candidate. Kind of sums up what a shit state we are in.

As chunky is now pressing me on this; no I dont think collingwood should be appointed. I think we should look abroad. Can someone remind me who the short/long list was when moores unforgivably got the job for a second time?

Otis gibson might be a good choice. Managed the Windies before and sorted out all of the political shite that went with it.

Moores and Giles iirc Doubt colly was ever on it, though he was tipped for coaching

Fair enough. I'm sure there are other English county coaches mind, Newell for example?

If Moores gets the chop and they want to promote from domestic cricket there is two obvious contenders, Jason Gillespie and Dale Benkenstein. Both done cracking jobs at their counties,Benkenstein is a born leader on and off the pitch.

Let colly trample all over him tbf ;)

Benks first season has been great, but needs to prove his mettle in Div 1.

Gillespie is a no brainer, would love to see what he could do with Finn and Stokes. Plunkett is twice the player he was at Durham.
