I'd hate to run with him playing cricket " yes , no , sorry " . Hes a decent keeper but to become a top class one he has to get that out of his game , maybe he has to get a few wrong and accept that to get over his tendency to indescicion. He'd get pelters of courseno. i think over the course of a few games he might be a bit hesitant on one or two, or in the odd instance come for one and not get near it, but i think peoples natural perception is to only remember the iffy ones, and disregard the vast majority of crosses where he makes the right decision.
of course, he has loads of room improvement, but he is from a current starting position of being a very good, reliable, solid no nonsense championship keeper. at the age of 22.
on this thread we've had people say he's 'shite at crosses' , 'makes people nervous' and is 'poor with the ball at his feet'.
none of this is true (if you use the base standard as that of an average championship keeper)
