The way I see it is that it’s highly likely the two keepers will be leaving at the end of the season. Therefore, give Patterson the games and judge whether he is going to be good enough for a number two, one or move on. If he’s good enough he’s old enough.
Hes got everything to be a good solid keeper in the future. Hes a big lad strong lad must be 6' 4" certainly looks the part

Sounds great, will they make championship players?
Who knows without blooding them. I'd say they have more chance of making championship players than Burge / Matthew's etc...
I guess we could also add Almond to the list of players who might be worth a chance. Big strong lad who should be up to it physically.

He has the potential to play Championship or above

Potential based on what?

The coaches should. As you well know players aren't a blank slate with who knows how they will fair. They have a potential, sometimes those perceiving it is wrong.

Like Hugill, Pye etc all could make them players, playing them in a situation like this, id be all for.

But if Patterson and younger perceived cap is league one, I'm not sure it is worth the risk.

If that's the case, I'm all for it.

Younger would be a far better bet at left back than Vokins judging him on what we’ve seen so far.
