And replace him with who? Can't expect to make progress changing the manager every year
Haven't you realised, we're going backwards? At this point we don't need progress, we just need to retain our current premier league status.

We lost 3 players from that team in Yedlin, M'Vila and Kaboul. Manquillo is worse than Yedlin and Papy and N'Dong couldn't tie M'Vila's and Kabouls boots
He could have signed m'vila and yedlin for less than he paid for ndong.

Totally agree, I question the sanity of anyone who wants Moyes

Its not that we are getting beat, its the decision and his logic
I question the sanity of anyone wanting Short at the helm. How many years has he been here are we've stood still? Yet it's the managers who get the bullet. If Moyes did go then Sam would be the only option for me if it's anyone else I'd rather stick with Moyes, it's going to be a long term fix this not short term and think we all knew that.

:lol::lol::lol:

Moyes is not a long term fix, he is completely and utterly finished, he is beyond bad

I'll accept relegation, but this guy is not the answer, he is f***ing useless.

I'm very nearly in this camp now. It's f***ing woeful

No idea how you are not firmly in it.

Total opposite to what I was expecting. Was genuinely very happy with his appointment.. His showing so far has been absolutely pathetic and it won't change any time soon. Has to go.

And to think the amount of money he's getting ?? To make bad decision after bad decision is what really irks me. In any other industry ...

Agree should be sacked

Proven in the past he has the experience to turn a bottom club into top 6 not saying it is going to happen again but I'd still keep Moyes over the likes of Sherwood. How long do you want us to keep going through managers? We've chalked most of them off on the list. Most of us accept relegation, it's probably the only way to sort the mess out unfortunately.

Is there a way to post a yes : no poll on here that calcualates responses?

Until we find one who is any good, the last bloke was ideal, this bloke is finished, he is f***ing horrendous

Sacking Moyes won't save us from relegation, but it will help the club build for the future

I can't believe you are being serious, some of the decisions he has made have been beyond logic, he is finished.

With every passing game, I'm struggling badly to see any positives. I mean since the opening day of the season what are the positives, what do we do well, things that you can see in games and think it's coming together, is there anything?

Tonight we were beaten by a mix of Southampton reserves/youths and deservedly so. Short needs to do something as time is running out fast.

'Tactically inept'. A player for 19 years and over 500 games. Took his coaching badges at the age of 22. A manager for 17 years. Won promotion with Preston. Took Everton from perpetual relegation strugglers to regular European football and top six finishes. Manager of the year 3 times according to his peers. Former manager of Manchester United. Has managed in La Liga. Has managed teams in 854 matches, the vast majority of which have been at the very top level.

And someone posting on an internet message board reckons that when it comes to tactics, he is 'inept'.

he played paddy mcnair left wing tonight
it's october 26th, we haven't won in the league.
it's october 26th, we have 2 points from a possible 27
it's october 26th and we're out the league cup
he spent 28 million on ndong, papy, mcnair, love, pienaar and anichebe
he keeps selecting rodwell
he has won 14 games out of his last 55, losing over 50% of them.
you forgot to mention he took everton to 17th once as well
as a manager he's won the footbal league division 2 and the charity shield. he's managed for 857 games
gary neville has managed in la liga.....
best effort was last 16 in europe for everton, something alan pardew bettered at newcastle.

given that he hasn't won a league game and he has a 16.67% win ratio as our manager, i'll stick by my "tactically inept" summary

look at his substituions since he got the job, absolutely woeful, some of the worst i've seen whilst watching the club for the last 26 years

"the stats are getting better" - all will be fine :)
