I don't even think it's Moyes. He has made mistakes but fuck me when Rodwell, Watmore and Papy are the best options you've got. Billy Jones is the best defensive full back at the club and the striker we started with tonight hasn't scored since May 2015, all while we bring on a young American lad and a past it Pienaar as a last throw of the dice. Just what kind of hope in hell would any manager have?

He brought the fuckers in that's put us in this position.

'Tactically inept'. A player for 19 years and over 500 games. Took his coaching badges at the age of 22. A manager for 17 years. Won promotion with Preston. Took Everton from perpetual relegation strugglers to regular European football and top six finishes. Manager of the year 3 times according to his peers. Former manager of Manchester United. Has managed in La Liga. Has managed teams in 854 matches, the vast majority of which have been at the very top level.

And someone posting on an internet message board reckons that when it comes to tactics, he is 'inept'.
He took preston to play offs they never won promotion.
Otherwise fair comments among some.
He's not the manager he was.
He's MoN mk 2

Yes he does, but not because of this game.

I've seen enough now to know that he simply cannot last. He has gotten everything wrong and continues to do so. I cannot see where a win will come from. Its simply a question of when he gets the sack now.

This for me.

It's all good and well him saying he sees improvement but the fact is we're still getting beat and never look like scoring.

I've got no idea who I'd replace him with mind, because as much as I want Allardyce back, I can't see that happening.

BY SOME MARGIN
are you for real ??
the bloke cost less than 2.5m more than truffle head ??
the manager deserves sacking for spunking nearly 14m on him alone!!!

21.5m?

Either way, the point is we're not competing at this level and havent done for ages. I doubt changing the manager now will make any difference.

I agree, he's gone too far, we've all seen it before, no one comes back from situations like this, when the writing is on the wall.

The only thing stopping Short sacking him is the dent on the balance sheet before he hands it over to the Chinese, I reckon.

You don't need to ask every single person to judge the mood. This board is a good enough sample IMO, and the majority of posters on here seem to want him out.

I think he was taking the piss mate.

See I see it different mate. But not going to argue. I think the silent majority want him to stay, not because they like him but they are sick of changing managers so often. I personally dont use the SMB as a barometer of the mood of Sunderland supporters.
