Must just be your circle then. There was even a poll in the echo and he got around 2% of votesA lot of the people I know were quite happy, having learned about his record and remembered his cup run with Bradford.

To be fair he did help keep them up as his Hull team lost to Colchester iirc. We also beat his Hull team with a late Ross Wallace goal.I don't know a single person who wanted him.
An icon of poverty.
Kept Colchester in the Championship while being sacked by Hull though. Some blerk.
My point was that for every 1 team that you don't need to hammer the league to get promoted. And that's all I'm really after at the moment. How is it overstated? How much do we invest in our academy per year for example compared to what other teams are spending on their squad? The amount we invest in our infrastructure should give us an automatic advantage straight away.
Quite afew there is the 90s if you look below. 3 teams breaking 100 in the last decade. The think the advantage comes when you look at our infrastructure compared to the rest of the league.
He hasn’t thoughColchester was 15 f***ing year ago man.
What he done then has no bearing on his management today, the game has moved on.

Pearson went to the Premier League a month later, Cook was successfully managing in the Championship and Stendel went on to relegate one of the biggest clubs in Scotland, winning 15% of his league games.
You're always going to be disappointed if your expectations are totally ridiculous.
At the moment, as long as he gets us promoted, I don’t see the problem in keeping him. 5 points off top with a game in-hand isn’t exactly a disaster. So our expectations should stretch as far as Phil f***ing Parkinson?

That's hugely overstated. Along with the highest revenue, we also have the highest overheads by roughly the same factor. Non-playing overheads were well over £20m when Donald arrived. We had some scope to offer higher wages, but even that is no longer there. The only new advantage may be that, once crowds are back, the wage cap will see us running at a trading surplus. That would allow a transfer budget, but would anyone with much more than a nominal transfer fee come for £2k/week or thereabouts?
He got them promoted unlike parky with usNo, apparently it's only meant to stretch as far as a manager who was sacked by Barnsley after no wins in 10 games.
I’d say we’re in another league compared to those 3 teams for infrastructure and a good 3 ahead of Peterborough.

Parkinsons championship record is fantastic like
Describe how our supposed 'infrastructure' is going to give us an advantage over those clubs this seasons. It hasn't allowed us to spend the money Peterborough and now Charlton have had in the summer and Ipswich and Hull have a squad of players every bit as strong as ours and players that have more recently played at a higher level. Of course we still have a strong advantage over most of the league but we aren't alone. As mentioned previously we are hampered by a large wage bill and have larger overheads than all of these clubs.
you seem to only ever post these days to deflect from any criticism of Parky. A very weird hobby to take up.
Well I do post to support my view of things as they stand at a particularly time which is the exact purpose of a message board. It seems as if you support a manager with a good record this season, this calendar year and in this division as a whole then you are treat as abnormalI criticise him as well. I thought his team selection leaving Flanagan out was completely wrong, he doesn't change things after a win even if there is a strong case to, i wish he would give more opportunities to the younger players. However I will always defend any manager or player against over the top unwarranted criticism which he gets at times IMO.
