I can confirm Jesmond Dene Parkrun is an absolute killer, you're fucked after 2K after the insane climb from the Dene into Paddy Freemans Park.

Durham for me this morning in about 26 minutes I think, quickest one this year and starting to ease back into it nicely.
2nd ever Parkrun for me today (and 2nd of the year), a minute faster than a couple weeks ago and 73rd this time around. My aim is to get back to my 'typical' 5km run of around 25 mins which would have me in the top 50. PB is 23:40 but that was a good few year ago.

Third Parkrun on the bounce this morning. Felt really good and was actually holding back for a lot of the race. Very tough last km but finished 55th in 25:34. Considering my first Parkrun this year (first ever) was 27:40 I'm very pleased. Closing back in on doing 25mins comfortably and top 50 in the run, that'll do me.

Durham’s course record went this morning, lad did it in 15:56. Unsurprisingly it wasn’t me!
