If we cant afford to sack him put him on leave and let someone else pick the team who actually wants to give it a go. I can cope with drawing or getting beat if we are actually attempting to win, rather than playing to not get beat in league bloody one.
He doesn't play to get beat he plays not to get beat. They often end up being the same thing.

I honestly don't think he has any chance at all of being sacked by Donald. He won't want to pay the compensation, the expense of paying off his staff, the expense and effort of hiring a new manager etc. Simple as that. It was madness at the time to give him a three year contract I thought.

Takeover, if it isn't just a new investor and a big PR stunt, should hopefully see the back of him if they have any sort of ambition at all.

He never seems to freshen it up, he waits till last 10 or 15 mins, even then he hardly makes any changes.
Well it cost us todays which is why I think the blame falls squarely on his shoulders. I'd be interested in @Summerbee opinion. It seems clear he got it wrong today but I wonder if he'll put it down to bad luck or acknowledge what we all saw - poor game management by the most uninspiring manager imagineable.

He aint getting sacked like, the OP is deluded as usual
No, he isn't getting sacked but its important for the fans to be very clear that his performance as manager is not acceptable. This is by far the worst standard in the 3 years we've been down here and we will blow this chance to get up specifically because of the manager's lack of courage and positivity. Any objective assessment would say he's been a terrible appointment.

Do you think he needs to go yet?
Starting to look that way. I never loved him as much as the SMB thinks. I wanted him gone last winter after Gillingham.

Clearly isn't 'bolshy' enough to manage Sunderland. We are the biggest club in this division by an absolute mile and should be playing like it

Hes a perrenial bottler.

5th-10th is his ceiling here, hes far, far to cautious and will lose points time and time again as a result. Not a chance we shouldn't be winning that game today.
