Promotion ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

You only have to look at Charlton who were out of sorts at times last season and they ended up winning them. No teams to fear in this league, it only takes a good run of 5 or 6 games to change around our season. If we beat Lincoln, there's no reason why we shouldn't be positive again.

f***ing shit.

Performances are still f***ing shit.

He needs binning right now. Why are people not relentless in wanting him out?

couple of things.
1. he was offered the job he took it, heโ€™s our manager.
2. Anyone who believes that all the problem was with Ross is naive.
3. heโ€™s changed the formation mid season.. a formation Ross could not make work.
4. Hes not been able to bring in any of his own players yet.
5. He has acted with great dignity despite the abuse and expectations. Not blamed anyone, not got defensive.
6. He was not an inspirational appointment, but we have him now and heโ€™s wise enough to get us promoted.
8. Give him a chance

Aw bless. Are you missing the silky sexy football Mr Ross gave us?
The three or four shots we had most games?
Shouda brought Moyes back.

tbf, moyes is doing great tonight ? grayson is higher than safc in l1 & Bruce doing ok a few tables higher :lol:

I know Grigg and McNulty arent exactly pulling up trees but why the persistence in that waste of space up front. What does he see that I cant and probably many others. Why wait to put McNulty on with 10 left does he want to keep on trying to preserve a point. If hes serious about play offs draws are no good when we were in with a shout of winning that game.

I didn't want him like most on here but it's obvious he's here till the end of the season, now if we keep Improving which the last 2 performances have been then I will get behind him and the players

It's a bit of a pathetic attitude if you want him out even if he goes on a winning run

Give him a chance? Heโ€™s had 15 games and won 3 FFS!!

A few points from me:

- Parkinson wasn't a popular choice. As a result, he's been on the back foot from day dot with little or no support from the fans;

- He inherited a team in poor form, low on confidence and lacking quality, certainly in the final third;

- There's onviously been issues behind the scenes that he's also had to contend with, consequently McGeady has been transfer listed much to dissatisfaction of many fans, myself included, however I think we can all agree that he has been poor this season when given a chance and particularly poor under Parkinson. Whether that's Parkinson's fault, McGeady's unwillingness to play or something in between, we don't know, but a decision has been made and we have to accept it;

- We've earned 4 points out of the last two games, two games which honestly I expected little from (that's how far we've falled), but we must give credit where credit is due. We outplayed both sides and have looked a lot better than what we have become used to. We battled all game today and were very unfortunate not to get all three points. I felt we were better than Fleetwood all over the park.

To summarise, I don't think now is the time to be getting on Parkinson's back, we may well have turned a corner, I'm desperately hoping we have. A win against Lincoln and a few new signings could put us back in the promotion picture.

I agree with the general sentiments of your post. However, Phil inherited a team which was in decent form i.e. not good enough to be in auto-promotion places. But solidly in playoff form.

The facts - 1.73 points per game under Ross, 1.2 points per game (as of 5pm today) under Parkinson.

He wasnt a good appointment and no one will say he was, but we haven't really given him a chance at all. The last two performances have been much better and he needs at least a transfer window.

The negativity surrounding the club at the moment is doing no one any favours.

It was a team going backwards and playing badly, he inherited a team that looked completely out of sorts. Ross would not have maintained that "form" imo, hence why the majority of fans wanted rid.

I would contend that it's not negativity. It's realism.

It's clear to me that Grigg and McNulty haven't earned their place. I would suggest in both cases it is down to lack of fitness and desire. PP is turning things around by getting the simple message across if you are professional and graft you will get his support. Wyke is providing that and if you are replacing him with someone who isn't then it spreads through the team.

Why are people obsessed with comparing Parkinson to Ross??

Why canโ€™t we say Ross was shit and has been replaced with someone even worse?
