they can only sack him and put a caretaker in charge, allowing new owners to appoint their own man. But sack him they should. As soon as possible.
The arguments for not sacking him are at odds with is keeping pace and still maintaining the chance of going up. The new owner must be aware of this predicament and 3 weeks with no damage control could fuck the remainder of the season ... its that stark . Sartori coukd be basically make a call hes on board right now , all it takes is for somebody to take responsibility

Parkys mid contract ... compo would be decent ... but time lost re another lg1 season might actually cost far more

Like it or not this is a watershed moment

The annoying thing is we all know he isn’t going to turn this around. There is total apathy running through the club. Every day he is here is obviously a day closer to him leaving, but it’s also a day wasted. His time is up, the body language of him and the players tell you that. So for once the fat dickhead needs to do the right thing, admit he was wrong and sack the hopeless wanker tonight
This must be the thought at ownership level here and elsewhere ... clocks ticking and games are being pissed away

Being a football manager it doesnt matter how shit you are, you get your contract paid up, he must be laughing, he can do what the fuck he wants,

It seemed pretty obvious when I saw the team that he'd set us up with three conventional midfielders behind Grigg & Wyke to keep a more solid core & presumably prevent them playing through the middle... with the expectation that having two men up front would also allow one of the strikers to press them at the back.

What we had instead was their keeper stood centrally with the ball at his feet, 25-30 yards out of his net, with Grigg & Wyke looking at each other wondering who's to press and what the other is meant to do. So they (MK) moved up as a a unit and simply played the ball quickly through the middle, leaving Grant exposed or - worse still - allowing their strikers to drop off, turn and run at our back 3.

It ended up not dissimilar to what we saw against Pompey. They were most dangerous once they got numbers up to pressure the area in front of the back 3. Knowing that Grant isn't the fastest or most mobile without the ball and that Wright will come rushing out if faced with pace running at him.

And - like Pompey - PP had half-time and most of the second half to realise he was being beaten tactically. But what we saw instead was a manager who has no idea how to change his plan mid-game and who succumbed at the end to throwing a variety of subs on (leaving only one proper defender on at the end) and hoping pressure from crosses and playing wide would create chances in their box.

This is Parky to a tee. He wants to play the tactical battle but others do it better and can change things quicker. At the same time he hasn't got the players adequately drilled or motivated. MK Dons were better in all the basics - controlling the ball, passing it quickly, and finding a team mate in key area's.

It looks like Russell Martin has only been in the job a short while but he's already got more about him than play-by-numbers Phil.

Wouldnt you be completely ashamed to come out with that crack?

Compare it with say the bulldog spirit of Reidy.

I think he may think he''s "doing a brucey" and getting excuses in early so he can get another job soon. It actually is pathetic and he'll be gone soon anyway.
