Parkinson Gone

it was never sensible, i don’t know anyone who wanted him or thought he’d do well

He wasn’t the right character to give us the lift we needed, he wasn’t a manager who’d give kids a real chance, he was a manager who sticks by the same players regardless of performances and he was always going to play slow boring negative football.

If he wasn’t the cheap option then wtf were they thinking?
Absolutely everyone was against it, SD came out and said the fans were wrong and they need to remember Dennis Smith...

Again just proves SD knows absolutely nothing about football.

This has not helped my Achilles tendon repair but fuck it.... bouncing up and down on one leg. ( -_・) ︻デ═一 ▸~(‘.’~)

It was sensible in the sense that if you run a business and you want someone to achieve an objective, you hire someone who has experience of achieving that objective and if possible, who has done it more than once. You can't blame those that adopted that thinking, because any responsible business owner in any industry would think the same way. The blame lies with Parkinson for failing to deliver on comfortable backing, but the job was never going to be easy for anyone.

But that has been the reasoning for over half the players we have on the books and already had been shown to be flawed logic.

A tactical decision by Stewie, 2 very easy games coming up, 6 points and you are back on for automatic promtion with 1.9 points per game.

All hail Stewie the football director genius!

Speak to Neil Warnock and he'll support that theory 200%.
Can’t really compare warnock to Parkinson. Warnock is proven throughout the divisions and has abit of character about him, Parkinson has a few low point tally promotions and is on par with moyes for excitement levels. Not one person would of complained if warnock was given the job but instead 99% knew what would happen under Parkinson. Pathetic appointment but at least he’s gone.

Ross failed because he was too cautious and negative - see his set up in the play off final. Parkinson had a correct reputation for cautious, negative football. The fans knew this and were absolutely deflated when he was appointed - in the end we were correct and the people who appointed him were wrong. It was so apparent when he was appointed. And if you want to look at history there were 6 managers linked at the time and Parkinson had the lowest career win rate of all of them. The fans, to a man and woman, thought this was anything but sensible at the time so why you are peddling some nonsense about it being sensible is anyone's guess.

An absolutely atrocious appointment from the start. See ya Phil, you’ve been shite and you’ve achieved exactly what we all thought you would - fuck all.

Maybe the only positive to him being here was it helped turn the fans against the useless **** who hired him that bit quicker.
