Parking in a child parking space

One of my pet hates like. I wish they could be fined.

Wifey in Sainsburys the other day, I was waiting to reverse out & she drove up behind me & started to “manoeuvre”. Reversed pretty much into the space behind, which was a normal space. Then once she was straight drove into the parent / child bay next to me. Got out, by herself, little fat dumpling about 60. She literally drove out of a space designed for her, into another space not designed for her, so she could save herself walking 10 yards. Drove home pissed off at myself because I just drove away & didn’t say anything.

As has already been said, it’s the self importance of these people that pisses me off.

May have been disabled. Not all disabilities are visible.

Slightly off topic, but some car parks spaces are ridiculously small 😂. Everyone’s parked within the lines but you can’t open your door more than about 3 inches. Love living more in the states now. You can fit about 3 cars in every space 😂. Also why is it you can park your car over the other side of the car park, there’s a hundred free spaces, yet when you come out someone’s parked right next to you?! Also, I just carry a child’s seat in the boot and hoy it in the back seat to take advantage of the kids parking. 😎

Glad I’m past having to use them, the misuse is unreal and as a parent it does wind you up.

When I was younger I thought nothing of it, once the shoe is on the other foot you realise how much of a c..nts trick it is.

just wish the shops would take responsibility, but they know the fatties and Chad who use them are still spending money in the store.

misuse of car charging bays will be next, already see that at asda grangetown.

It just highlights how lazy some people are mind. Sainsbury’s on Sea Road is the worst I have come across for people parking in disabled/parent parking to avoid having to walk 20-30m.

Handy not having to walk the bairn across a busy car park. Probably not essential, I can keep an eye on him, hold his hand to make sure he sticks with me and that, but generally anything that reduces the chances of a kid getting squashed in a car park is a good thing.

I seen a fat lazy **** do this when my eldest was a baby so I parked right behind them so they couldn’t get out. Walking round the shop was such a giggle with my little un.

Always park furthest away in supermarket car park where there's plenty of space.
I agree with the poster who said people who abuse disabled or patent and child parking are the ones who need a long walk the most.
