Parking in a child parking space

Aye though what entitles them is beyond me
To help with child safety? They’re usually closest to the door to save having to cross traffic to get to the shop.

They’re also wider which helps when trying to get a child in and out of a seat. For example, I couldn’t get a child space recently as they were full, some with people just sat in their car. I parked in a regular space, right in the middle. When I returned someone had parked terribly, right up against my passenger door and over the line. Now imagine trying to get a child into a baby seat when it’s like that.

Also, it’s usually fatties and dirty people who park in the child bays without a child.

I park in them because I’ve got a big posh car and I’m sick of twats banging it with their doors. Mind I do normally have a child with me ... although I’m not sure an 11 year old counts ??

That's the reason why I think they make sense. Not easy man-handling a wriggling 3 year old into one of these massive car seats that kids have to sit in these days - you need as much space as possible.

Using the spaces when you don't have kids with you is just selfish.

I doesn't affect me directly (have a couple of grandkids though).

This is correct. Lazy, fat messes in my experience. Not respect for themselves so definitely no respect for others.
