You'll be waking up to the news that this film raked in four Oscars last night, becoming the first ever non-English language film to win best picture.

Do not let the Korean language and subtitles scare you. It's a film that is absolutely worth seeing, an incredible commentary of class, inequality, desperation and the struggles between rich and poor people.

Absolutely and truly deserved.

Some great Korean / Japanese movies.
Always liked them.

Shoplifters (nap) and burning (Korean) both out last Yr i think, were both great and also showed the disparity between those who have and those who don't.
Haven't seen parasite but one I will a watch this week

sounds like Metro manila which is brilliant

The Director is the Steven Spielberg of Asian Films in terms of success/people aware of his name.

The film itself is decent and would definitely worth a watch but there’s better Korean films out there too. 8/10.
