anyone have one of these? im needing something that will shoot very high quality video and to be quite compact in the region of £700. read about this, are there any better dslrs avaliable for the price that will get higher quality video?

If you visit dpreview and go to the micro four thirds forum you'll find plenty of views there. I have a G1 (no video but very happy with camera for stills), there is also a GH2 out now that apparently improves on the already great GH1.

Is the stills photography aspect important at all or are you mainly interested in the video? You could try one of the compact system cameras like the Sony NEX-5:

Or back with DSLRs you could get something like the Nikon D90 or the Canon 500D and have a couple of hundred quid left over.

They look a bit odd, mind! Meant to be pretty decent though for what they are.

Personally, I'd get a standalone camcorder and a good camera - It'd cost less. You could get something like a Flip HD for £100, then spend the rest of a far superior DSLR plus lenses.

Mind, it seems like a great package, albeit a pricey one.
