New Zealand win the 1st ODI. Less convincingly than the scorecard suggests. But still a drubbing.

Notable mention to M.Abbas making his debut for New Zealand. Son of a former Pakistani player. Made the fastest ODI 50 on debut in 24 balls and took the important wicket of Rizwan too.

Compendium of injustice? I like it. Here's a couple of recent ones.

Hundred snub. After years of participation for numerous players of Pakistani origin. This is 1st season where none were selected. Another reason for me not to watch it. But according to bcci cricinfo apparently its just paranoia and conspiracy theory. Where have we heard that before I wonder?

Outside England. I agree mate I'm the same. We love a plucky underdog going against a behemoth. The problem is this goliath has no class, etiquette and fights dirty. If they can do this to a cousin then imagine what they could do with some closer? They'd probably sell their Mams for a few more shekels. Greedy kernts.

Although granted, it's not great being a Pakistani fan of late. Definitely going through a lean spell.
Did not know all of this.... Taken in isolation, not enough to cause a fuss but all of that taken in context...you can see why they might be paranoid.

Aye, I had it on too. I know it's Kiwis B side but the youngsters are playing well. You would have thought a few more would have turned out. It's as one sided series as you're going to get though. There is that.

Anyway. Kiwis take the 2nd ODI and the series with another thrashing of a disconsolate Pakistan side.

On a green top with help for the fast bowlers. Pakistan struggled for accuracy. Kiwis ended getting best part of 300 when 250 was par.
In reply, the NZ quicks were everything the Paks weren't. Quick and accurate. Contest was done after the first 10ovs. Ripping the top order out for 30-5.

Highlight of the game for me was the bowler Naseem Shah coming on as a concussion sub for Rauf and blasting a rapid 50. Showing the rest of the team how to go on.

Another walk over today for NZ to take the series 3-0 easy as you like.

Rain affected game 42ovs. Kiwis did well to get upto 260odd. Paks definitely bowled better with more control but still look a bit toothless. Less said about the batting the better.

Never nice to see altercations with the fans. Although why Afghan fans would want to go and abuse players when your own team isn't playing is a bit baffling.

New look Pakistan take an unassailable 2 nil lead at home to Bangladesh in their T20 series.

New coach (Mike Hesson) New captain (Salman Agha) and new outlook team without Babar, Rizwan or Afridi.

2 back to back scores of over 200 and bowling with spite.

Caught the back end of this game. Hopefully can keep this form going. 3rd T20 on Sunday 4pm.

Pakistan routed Bangladesh in their 3rd T20 to take a clean sweep 3-0

Their batters turning up again. This time another star of the PSL Harris with a ton in 45 balls.

Bangladesh must've thought they were in the game scoring 196-6 but the Pak batters took the game away knocking them off in 17ovs.
 
The four batters who did well in series Saibzada Farhan, Saim Ayub, Hasan Nawaz and Mohammad Harris. Look decent bats like.

Life without Babar, Riwan and Afridi for Odis looks decent for the Paks.

Errm, at least Waz is okay with it. Absolute monstrosityfor me :lol: more than looking like Sly Stallone, why stick him in '99 shirt? They lost the final (even though it was a tremendous WC for them) wouldn't the '92 jersey been better?
