I think after the second goal went in we fell to pieces a bit, which lead to 3 and 4. But I agree, their first was totally against the run of play. The scoreline flattered them. Sky reckons they only had 6 shots on target and an Xg of only 1.30

Players completely unmarked in our box heading the ball is becoming a theme, that first half defensively was a car crash, and plenty of times that didn't lead to goals too. Defenders & midfielders being lazy is unforgivable to be honest in the prem, and that was what I saw, unwillingness to match runs, not busting a gut to help out defensively. Really worrying actually how pathetic that truly was

It was pathetic. The players will only get away with it off the bulk of fans because we won at the landfill.
 
It is so insecure to keep bringing up we've have a good season whenever we play utter dog crap.

We just got beat 5 nowt man because players are on the beach, no motivation, no concentration. No excuses, pathetic!

We should be battling it out for Europe! teams like forest have played a lot more games than we have so we can't use the excuse of being fatigued.

You say we've played phenomenally, well I don't know, we've definitely gotten some amazing results and achieved our goal, but there's been very little in 80% of our games. We have grinded out points, the football has been pretty ugly and frustrating. We don't score many and we've conceded too many lately.

This result and Port Vale is a disgrace, no two ways about it.

Aye, we defended badly from set pieces but I thought our general play wasnā€™t terrible.

People wonā€™t like this being mentioned, but our xGC was 1.29 (according to flashscores). Thatā€™s quite a significant underperformance for one game. Combined with some dodgy looking decisions - Iā€™m happy to file this one under a ā€œblipā€ - they happen, just learn from it if we can and move on.
 
When people say they donā€™t accept it and itā€™s not good enough what are they on about? This is professional sport. Of course you accept it. It is good enough. Every team gets a hammering at home at some point - itā€™s not some intolerable moral disgrace. Some mistakes, some misfortune, some good play from them, some randomness, 0-5, onto next week.
