Over hyped films

There was too much stuff shoe-horned in to Rogue One so you didn't really get a chance to connect with the characters enough. It's an enjoyable enough watch though. Infinitely better than, say, the Phantom Menace.

I've never found this place to be a particularly good source of film recommendations. If lots of people on here like something it usually means it's garbage.

I liked the plot and many of the characters are more interesting than in any of the prequels or sequels, IMO

People go on about The Avengers and Iron Man as if they're some sort of mind-blowing orgasm of writing skill and direction style but they just fall totally, utterly flat for me. Action films are never going to be up there with the greatest films of all time because, if they were, Commando would be a multiple Oscar winning picture. ;)

I think Alien is the better film overall but they are completely different styles so not really directly comparable.
