The thing that winds me up about that film is the technical errors.

Their idea is to fly a 60 year old space ship to the mothership, give it a virus that will disable the shields and allow them to blow up the attacking ships.
- Did the aliens not notice a 60 year old craft attempting to dock. I'm just if the Argies tried to land a spitfire on an aircraft carrier in the Falklands, we'd have noticed.
- How is your Macbook going to connect with the alien computers? Wifi, USB, Thunderbolt connector? Do they have the password taped to the control tower?
- How exactly do you give them a virus, when you don't code in the same language or even use the same alphabet?
- A bunch of crop dusters suddenly becoming TopGun pilots in modern jets?

Complete horseshit the whole thing.
