Needs to be between 24" and 27"
Most important feature is good view angles, as we watch from side-on
Would be good if I can stream from a laptop, tablet or phone direct to the telly
Would be good if I can plug a USB HDD in and play content directly off it

Any idea which is best? Struggling to find any decent reviews and struggling to find any other options at this size.

Much of a muhness between the two mate. Either would do the job. Check file formats supported then take the one with most supported types for your usb needs.

Do you realise that Panasonic don't make their own panels any more since last year and in fact use LG panels in their own TV's? Sharp is the only Japanese manufacturer still making their own panels. The South Korean tech has taken over from Japan, LG and Samsung are the leaders now.

We got a Sharp Aquos 24 inch smart HD one for the kitchen for £150 from sainsburys. Think they still got them in.

Does all you need.

If you're collecting ,the staff are spot on and canny knowledgeable

Can you put kodi on either? I'm looking for it a similar size for three bedroom and wouldn't mind having kodi built in
Kodi is constantly updating. If you try to install it on a device, you'll eventually have your support dropped.
No mate. You'd need a tv with android built in and you should avoid them anyway imo! Just get a fire stick or raspberry pi 3..much better and tiny.

Think I might need to take a drive to the one in Newcastle after work one night and ask them to have them both set up in the testing room. Ta.

Just sent the Newcastle store a bit list of questions. Wonder if they reply? They didn't bother replying to my tweet.

I've used LG for my last 3 TV. purchases. I don't know about pannys, but you LG tvs are completely sound.

I had a Panny until very recently, it was very very good. Got a Samsung now though, which is also great.

Just bought the LG one - it was £20 cheaper on Amazon with free delivery - saves me driving into Newcastle city centre. So ended up being £60 less than the Panny, so even if its not as good, its a decent deal - £150 is nowt really.

I've got one of those new convex tellies so you can see it from anywhere, not just the centre of the room
