Our friend Danny Rose

Probably the best time for Spurs to move him on tbh. He's been injured/injury prone for ages and finally got in and back to something like his best last season. Still the best English left back when fit, but he seems to have been a bit of a disruptive influence, had off field problems and on a hefty wage. Spurs are also quite good at replacing players, but unless they can sign a better class of player and manage the egos long term then I can't really see them making the step up where they're realistically competing with the likes of City.

Not the best choice of phrase.

He does seem to have been struggling lately and I feel as though he is simply not in the best place at the minute.
He strangely seemed to be happy playing for us.

It must be a right pig wondering how to spend £100,00 a week. He should have to work for a living to see what sort of place that puts him in
