Our club is banning loyal supporters for...

What is interesting is that Doberman wished the club would get rid of me, a season ticket holder since Roker.

I'd be astonished if it's not a case of some kid who's been swearing during the match a little too much. Steward has gone to have a quiet word and the lad's kicked off and had a pop at the steward. Kid gets thrown out because of his reaction to the steward as opposed to the actual incident.

Bad crack if that's all he was thrown out/banned for. I and everyone in my vicinity swear their heads off throughout most of the match so there'd be a pretty big empty chunk of seating if they were to be consistent with their rule with everyone - in fact most of the ground would be empty. People saying perhaps he shouldn't have been swearing then  it's a football match ffs stop being fannies.

The sanitisation of football continues apace;I've never felt more detached from the game as I do now. It's a 'business' before a sport these days, give me back the Roker days any day above what we have now. Banning swearing would be almost unenforceable, half the crowd would get slung out at the SoL,we have lots to swear about....the most commonly heard word being 'shite'!!!
But strangely they don't so maybe we haven't been told the whole story.

It's funny. The club seem to be desperate to tempt those back that have turned their backs on the club with free tickets etc. Yet they are seemingly doing everything in their power to piss off those who attempt to show passion toward the club.

When a single player is earning a third of a million quid basic wages and more...then I think it is. Fuck them. Fuck the lot of 'em and Fuck football too. It is an abomination.
When some bent fucker's slathering huge back-handers all over the place in FIFA and then give the World Cup to f***ing Kuwait to be played in the middle of Summer and then force the
whole of Europe to cancel their League and Cup fixtures so that they can play it there in the Winter then Football is fucked, fucked, fucked. end of lads. Get back to watching Northern League stuff, local
lads playing local football and value for money. It's the way forward, let the FA/FIFA and the rest of them implode. Won't happen in my life time but hopefully...in yours.
I can't argue with any of that mind, but relating it to people being thrown out for swearing isn't a direct indicator.

I've never in my relatively short time of 18 years as a season ticket holder seen any one thrown out for swearing. If it's telling a steward or copper to Fuck off its not surprising is it, regardless of what happened before hand.

The stuff you mentioned isn't a new phenomenon, but if we keep buying season cards, subscribe to sky and keep the Premier League money generator going, then nowts going to change.

You can see the stewards on a mission in the south stand every game, season card holders should avoid that area like the plague imo. Seems to me the idea was to get all the livelier fans into the same area to make it easier to get rid or re-educate those who would ruin the craved for cinema type audience.

He was hoyed out for confrontation with the steward not for swearing during the game.

Ok, so we're eight pages in and we still don't know what actually happened?

But there's still plenty of people who have a firm view on what is right or wrong about what may or may not have happened?

Scary.

Fair enough, sounds a more punishable offence than just swearing I suppose. Only going to be one winner if you get into a confrontation with a steward I'm afraid, as much as I'd be fuming in such a situation I'd just bite my tongue and walk away.

I'd like to know how or why he was loyal. Does he go to all away games? Apologies if so.

I think biting ya tongue is classed as being aggressive. Banned!

Saw a youngun had been banned for the Man United game for swearing. He posted a picture of the letter he'd recieved from a certain ex policeman who is now head of security for the club. Absolutely disgusting
