Give over, otters were here before men learned to fish and should be here long after...

got sod all to do with angling, as keen as I am. They dont take a fish to eat they take them to have a bite, leave the fish dying and then off for another one. Reducing the breeding stock all the way. If the fish decline the other species dependant on them, kingfishers for example also decline and its taken a long time to get the numbers back up. Plenty of rivers still struggling due to pollution from diesel spills, chemical spills etc without Otters buggering things up further

It's obviously disappointing as and when they don't eat the full fish but they have their reasons...
