O'Shea has a pop at the board

He's not saying anything that any reasonable fan hasn't been thinking themselves. We have without doubt underachieved but I think he's wrong to just blame the board and say it's not always the manager's fault because it patently was partly the fault of Di Canio and Poyet. He's right about the player recruitment though.....but then we all know that.

Let's hope it focuses minds at the club on the job ahead and some better decisions are made.

He's spot on. He's said it sensibly, the board will know how important a player he's been for us and as such a senior figure he's the type of player who should be saying these things. If the board don't listen to him that's up to them, but the truth sometimes hurts.

It certainly hurt when he was told the truth by a previous manager and he went to Maggie's door to get his ego kissed all better.

The bloke was a f***ing lunatic. There's a difference between discipline and being a total idiot. The fact he completely isolated Lee Cattermole when he's clearly our best centre midfielder then and now shows how much PDC actually got it wrong.
