So much for them battering us and sending us home with our ‘tales’ between our legs
Fair play their goal was a belter but they hardly pulled up any trees. Bang average at best.
All I seen was the flare, can’t comment on the other stuff.![]()
Was anything thrown today ?
I see on the Sunderland forum, they are saying stuff (glass/bottle as well as a flare was thrown down by City 'fans' If true, out of order - anybody see anything? Would think Police cameras would pick up anything like that. Hoping it's not true, and can't understand why anybody would randomly...www.skybluestalk.co.uk
Thought I would share this thread with you lot
I cant comment other than offer my condolences as I wasnt thereAll I seen was the flare, can’t comment on the other stuff.
Won’t be too much longer into the future where away fans will be back downstairs.
And we still could only draw at home to them. Either we were better or people think they weren’t as good as they were. It shows how huge the gap in the physical standard between the Championship and League One. And how far we need to go to match what’s needed to get through an average Championship season.
Every fan base has bellends mate, hopefully the offender was caught and is deservedly bannedI cant comment other than offer my condolences as I wasnt there
That's a good point, I don't remember any incidents like that with us against the mags and I'm certain of there were any the mags wouldn't stay quiet about it.
Its just weird that Coventry go on like that, we must really get under their skin.
For an “established promotion pushing team” to draw with a newly promoted team shoes we more than held our own for me. Tbf, they are six points off the play offs last year and first half we were brilliant. We have nothing to be ashamed of.

Because it was our fans who forced it first with the whole jimmy hill shiteAny idea why their fans are obsessed with forcing a rivalry?
I wonder if he’s still wearing the same shirt![]()
Newcastle United fan left burned by flare on troubled derby day
20-year-old fan Carl McVay was enjoying the match with his dad when he was hit and left with burns to his upper right armwww.chroniclelive.co.uk
I was sitting just behind the goal underneath them and seen the flare hit a woman and a bloke holding a smashed bottle (held together by the sticker). All I seen was the flare, can’t comment on the other stuff.

I didn't think it was the best atmosphere today. All felt a bit nervy.
I remember that now, that is awful.![]()
