Get rid of Lewis, Walker and Kileen and start again

Windows and Cook exempt due to academy

not sure what Killeen has done wrong. tbf none of us can really judge how goo dor bad a job they're doing that well.

we've been undefeated in 8 games and come bloody close to pulling out a good few extra wins recently, been a crap season overall but it was never going to be owt else given the deductions and all the injuries we've had

Surely if he has expressed an interest in coaching post playing career he is the type of person who they should be willing to accomodate, given he is actually a good coach that is.

Who are the coaching staff? Lewis, Killeen, Walker, Windows? And Geoff Cook obviously
Is Geoff Cook a coach still? Part-time if he is.

And no credit is due for the improvement once the players hit the first team?

If you want to give him credit then fair do but I haven't seen the sort of improvements I'd hope to have seen in the 1st team this season pretty much all round. You know what you get from Rushworth and Onions, but the rest all very similar with nobody standing out at all.

Looking from the outside in, there has been very little improvement in players once they reach the first team, and those that have i.e have improved because of working with different players (benkinstein, di venuto) or different coaching setups like the England lions. Lewis and Walker have very little impact on the lads there. Most of the credit in house goes to Geoff, John and Neil.

Good luck to him. He's been a great player for us. I can understand the club's reluctance to offer a longer contract with his injury record. And I can understand his desire for financial security at his age.

Agreed

I covered it earlier - I imagine the club gave it serious thought, but it's likely that they cannot commit the money to paying him as a coach when a) we probably have no vacancy and b) there's no guarantee he'll be any good at it.

We'll see, but it could well be that the club he goes to won't offer him a coaching role either.

So what happened with regards the marked improvement to Clark this season? Jennings last season? All their own work entirely? No help from our coaches at all?

Lewis and Walker need to go, club needs fresh input.

Why? What's made you come to this conclusion? We're still unearthing bowling talent, is that nothing at all to do with Walker?
