Wouldn't mind seeing the booking again.Im not usually a fan but he was canny tonight. Pretty physical
Runs like a spaniel chasing a stick. Loads of potential.

That's canny old in terms of potential like.O'Nien has took a bit of time to settle, looks like he is finding his feet now and will be important to the squad as the season progresses. He is only 24 next month plenty of time to see how much potential he really has.
I like the lad, and love his enthusiasm as well, but this has to be a wind up, in no way did he change the game when he came on tonight?
Seems to be a bit of over-enthusiasm because he held the ball up in the corner to be honest.I must admit like I really didn't see any of what many people are saying about him after last nights match.
I think he offers very little apart from energy.
We had people calling for Jack Ross’ head on here after a run of draws. In both instances they’ll be waiting to rear their heads again when either have a bad patch and are generally beat just ignored.Laughable. I seem to remember a lot of early posts about the lad being well out of his depth, poor, bad signing etc. This is what happens when supporters/fans give their early (1 or 2 game) opinions about a player. FFS start judging football players after at least 20 games.

The way Ross sets us up is working so why change it?It’s really time we started being more positive and dominate games from the off, think the penny dropped with Ross tonight. I’d rather start ONien and bring on players like Cattermole for the last few minutes if we’re penned in.
we wont dominate many teams from the off because they shoot their loads earliy oin..we wait..and pick them off in the second half. The way Ross sets us up is working so why change it?
Because he wants Cattermole out of the side because he simply doesn't like him. No other reasonThe way Ross sets us up is working so why change it?
It's laughable and pathetic marra. To think of the players we've had who have actually deserved the shit he gets and people decide to go for this lad ffs. You’d think he was the worst player in the history of league football the way the majority go on.
I surprised by how many people overlook how many shortcomings can be overcome and eradicated by having a positive mental attitude. It’s been proven time and time again in all walks of life. A less gifted person with energy, drive, and desire can be more successful than one more talented but less motivated purely because they want it more. And are prepared to do whatever it takes for as long as it takes to achieve it.I thought he did well last night. A solid 7/10. He did change the pattern of the game by playing further forward than LC. I know we need no proof of his attitude but last night he was warming up constantly and at HT was on the pitch a good 5 mins before the rest of the subs. He is a fair to middling midfielder atm but world class in terms of attitude and commitment to the cause.
I take great comfort in knowing I clearly understand the game better than some because I struggle to find fault with Honeyman most weeks.
He's crucial to the high press, he never lets up, he's neat and tidy in dangerous areas, he links well with Maguire from the left and Gooch from the right, he contributes a goal every other week from midfield, he's clearly popular amongst the players & coaching staff, he'll never end up in the press for the wrong reasons and he wants to be here.
people like o nien because he runs around a lot and comes across like he cant believe his luck in signing for us..and thats fine..but we want quality players..and o nien has shown relatively little of that..even his goal on saturday was a poor first touch and a mediocre finish..but he has enough ability that his energy coming on late in games makes a huge difference
we were 1-0 up when he came on..so he couldnt have changed the game
to prevent something is to maintain the status quo..not to change it...Yes he could....his presence could have potentially prevented an equaliser, he was in their faces from the word go !
