That was a great tune - there were a few gems on that album but the record company were trying to turn them into Scotland's Fleetwood Mac by that time

Agreed that it is a great album and I prefer GNR debut but NWA Straight outta Compton pips Appetite for me.

This album was so different from anything out there. I was heavily into the punk scene at the time and this album was absolutely so anti-punk that most of my friends absolutely hated it. But something about the album just drew me in. It was chaotic and noisy and harmonious and gentle all at the same time, that I absolutely loved it. My friends used to make fun of me for listening to it, but I've never really been one to give a shit. Haven't listened to it in eons, will have to give it a spin now.
