Once the transfer window closes could the chairman

I am sick to f***ing death of you and all the ***** who think like you and pander to the absolute bollocks that Ellis "the skintest billionaire on the planet" Short and Martin "I can't wait till I get sacked and my contract paid off" Bain.

Our survival as a club depends on us staying in a league where we can make some f***ing money.

When your club is dying you don't pull up the drawbridge, it isn't pretty but we NEED to invest some money.

More specifically we NEED our chairman, a supposed "Capital B" Billionaire to invest some money.

In the richest year of the clubs history they both made the stupidest decision known to man and gave a new manager next to nothing to spend fixing the shitty hole we were in as a team. I hate moyes, I never wanted him and never liked him but after literally giving him nothing when we were in crisis in January no wonder he gave up hope.

Now this year, thinking we are impervious to the drop he still decided to invest NOTHING!!! I can understand if it was gonna be mid table mediocrity for a few years in the championship but you have to plug the gaps in the f***ing ship to stop it sinking further. Spend some money this year to keep us afloat then reduce as we look safer and safer.

Instead they've gambled everything on a f***ing miracle that we might avoid yet another drop by spending absolutely fuck all without taking into account if we go down we get EVEN LESS MONEY!!!!!

But that isn't a problem for old Ellis is it the f***ing prick. Because if we go down he'll just sell off all of our assets and fuck off back to America. The hotel, the stadium, the academy, the swimming pool, even the f***ing ticket office and Stokoes statue will all be sold off and we go into a realm of f***ing obscurity for the rest of my days.

FUCK YOU, FUCK ELLIS SHORT and FUCK MARTIN BAIN.

Do you want your dummy back?

I still struggle to understand how Safc had ten years of sky/bt/setanta/worldwide TV channels money, average 40000 crowds/merchandise sales, sponsorship, player sales of record amounts and be in a position of unable to spend a million quid

I see this alot on here. It doesnt take into consideration that out goings were at record amounts.

It really doesnt matter how much you bring in if you're giving more out.

It is, we set it in motion while in the premiership attempting to stay away from some of the points you made.

Were now attempting to take our medicine. Its not particually pleasent but it has to be done. I actually think they were quite providing in the summer given our financial position.

pity that once again, as per typical, all that investment was once again spent on absolute dross that has further added to the problems

surely though, the 'best interests of the club' at the moment is ensuring we do not drop another division, at present we are still seen as a reasonably big club having just dropped out of the premier after 10 years, which should mean we still have a wee bit of 'pulling power' for players IF some money was invested in the playing staff.

as much as we all hate watching the penny pinching it had to be done, but there is also a point where it becomes a matter of cutting off your nose to spite your face... a little money going towards experienced players now could and should provide dividends rather than having to rely on the young lads (gifted as they may be we are not in a position to be throwing them in at the deep end) or older freebies.

as well as looking after the club now we should be making at least some inroads into getting the club back up the table and hopefully back into the 'gold mine'...i simply cannot understand why an owner is just standing back watching HIS investment lose money hand over fist and heading towards far less income.

Absolutely, it was astonishing that we had got into such a position from buying people with high wages that we couldnt rid ourselves of, to buy more of the same.

Best interests mean trying to stop the club imploding. This includes minimalising exspenses as much as possible, this encompases your first 2 questions. The 3rd and 4th is not something they can directly control without violating the before mentioned best interests.
Or, they could have gone for a promotion push and filled the stadium.

£500 million in, we have spent £680 million?

What's happening with the £100 million parachute money, the £30 million for Pickford and Christ knows millions saved on those out on loan?

Regardless of funds I still do not see how their couldnt have been a young keeper in the lower leagues that would have been better than steele

Once the transfer window shuts could the chairman........

just turn off the lights and wind the club up for fucks sake. Put us all out of our misery.

Just go through the list of absolute shite the club has wasted money on over the last 10 or so years and there will be your answer

I've tried to

I reckon there has been £500 million incoming, so have we really spent around £680 million outgoing?

£100 million in parachute payments, £30 million for Pickford.

If we with the advantages we have had are so skint that a million cannot be spent, then 90% of club's should have folded by now

And the fact that we're probably still paying for half of them

He is subsidising it. The average loses of 30m for the last how many seasons have been paid in part by him.

Why would it seem strange to you that he would like to be as little out of pocket from his time here as possible?
Because I'm not stupid enough to think that I could make money from owning SAFC!
