Striker
Welbeck showed again tonight that this is probably the first time in many a year that we have potentially 3 top notch strikers at this football club. Christ how exciting that is.

And, yet again, has made it incredibly difficult to drop him.

If Gyan is back by the weekend and Bent (Who clearly wasn't fully fit tonight) has had 5 more days training then I would be inclined to put all 3 out at the weekend.

We look shaky at the back at the moment, best form of defence is attack an all that so we wont get a better chance to try it out - and on there day I genuinely reckon Bent, Gyan and Welbeck could be sensational

admittedly, the pairing of wellbeck/gyan excite me, i think DB is a little off the pace of these two atm

Welbeck seems to be having a similar time to what Campbell had last season. Got his first goal and looked a different player. A lot more confident.

He's looked miles better since the Mags. I thought (and you can see it documented on here) that he was a bit 'Chopra' up until then, lots of running around but no end product.

Since THAT day, he's been different class really.

Coincides with him moving up front. We started 4-5-1 against Stoke and changed it to 4-4-2 after 8mins for some bizare reason. He looks a lot more comfortable.
