You do sound a bit tight though, get one of the 'cheaper' season cards. This is premier league football with arguably our strongest team in years.

Let the good times roll

WHo mentioned demand or the club to pander. If the option to pat DD then fine I'd not them tough keep my dosh only pocket

What was the point of you posting this here?

The direct debit scheme is an incentive to encourage more supporters to buy a season ticket before the end of the season. Therefore they receive an element of discount for the loyalty they show.

You missed the boat and yet you expect to be given special treatment? What if every season ticket holder did the same???

Wake up man.

Putting aside that the OP is a tosspot - the club cannot budge on the DD stance as they are not registered to do anything else. They are currently going through the process of becoming registered and allowing credit agreements etc and hope from next season (12/13) to be able to offer the payments over 12 months etc.

Quinn and Walton were talking about the other month. It's a lengthy process due to all of the new systems and training etc that need to be put in place.

A few wankers will totally ignore this and carry on twisting regardless.

Aye, what a wanker. It's been the same since they started letting people pay by direct debit, coming on here pissing and moaning about it is pathetic. As you say, there are reasons why the scheme is set up this way.

I debated this on a few occasions, but I have now come to the conclusion that you are indeed a ****.

I've reported his post. I know it's a wind up but enough is enough. Hopefully they'll see it a libelous or something and ban the arsehole.

Isn't he part of the Simple club though, therefore above us all?

the first payment has already went out and the 2nd one is due in a few weeks. How can anyone expect to join a scheme half way through.

Next season hopefully we will do it over 12 months like Newcastle.

I pay my utilities and car insurance by 12 month DD and have never signed a credit agreement with them yet - all I've signed is the direct debit mandate - the exact same one that I signed with SAFC.

Could there not be different rules for different things then?

I hope it's nothing like the Mags' one! One of my mates at work had to pay 2 instalments within 3 days and they are taking 10 payments of £55 for a season ticket that costs £410

Clearly you know more about it than Quinn and Walton then and you should give them a bell to explain they are wasting their money becoming registered and setting up a load of new systems and training the staff.
