Stick your season ticket up your arse....

Want to pay direct debt and the ticket office replied with this

Unfortunately the deadline to pay via the Direct Debit option was the 6th April 2011, so at this stage it would be payment in full.

Kind regards

Looks like dodgy TV or the pub Quinny....

I think even the Mags knew that our deadline for signing up to Direct Debit was the 6th April. If you have left it too late then hard lines. Everyone else, and Im talking approximately 20,000 people, managed to remember.

:lol: there is an argument we should run the DD scheme longer, but no sympathy with people complaining now when we are buying players. People who renewed 4 months ago deserve some sort of incentive.

You simply cant run it any longer than it already goes. The 6th April is a good cut off date. Clubs need to know as early as possible how much revenue they are expecting next year, and they have to give an incentive over other fans who simply wait and see what signings we have made before committing to the club, which in my opinion, doesnt deserve the benefits that a direct debit scheme brings..

Its got nothing to do with the signings for me though, tow mates have pestered me to go to matches, now I want to go but the DD is not there..never mind..;)

mmm, alright, still no answer..

Are you legitimately bothered about the DD option or are you highlighting what you think is an issue?

I am bothered about the DD scheme. Not everyone can stump up a season card in full, no matter where it is in the stadium. I just don't see the point of stopping the scheme, when the Chairman is bleating on about too many empty seats, folks going to the pub to watch the matches, perhaps they are quite happy with the actual attendances as opposed to revenue..

I think the deadlines are there for a very specific reason. I also wouldn't trust the ability in effectively catching you up if it was even remotely possible.

 can't believe you're still getting bites after all this time! The "point in stopping the scheme" has been explained to you so many times but of course it just hasn't registered has it? Its not that you're choosing to ignore it because you're on the wind up is it? Fair play though, the pages just keep rolling by!

I'm not the only one not getting it, its not a wind up, but as HH said, Quinny must be missing something too, when people want to pay by dd, after this deadline..

For fucks sake you dull wanker. There was a deadline. Live with it.

Oi, fuck off with your comments, get back on the other board...

After further emails the reply:

Dear Beagles...

Further to your recent communication with the ticket office I would like to clarify the situation regarding our payment instalment method for season tickets.

SAFC does not charge supporters for this method of payment and the club absorbs the considerable cost of administering the scheme itself. The only caveat is that the deadline to enter into the payment scheme for this season was April 6 2011.

This deadline was clearly communicated through the club’s normal channels – online at safc.com, through direct communication by email and post with existing and lapsed season card holders and through regional media channels.

The direct debit system is managed by a bank on behalf of the club and the dates and payment structure is predetermined and cannot be amended or extended for any individual. The first payment for the four scheduled was actually taken on May 1, it would therefore now be impossible to pay by this method as the commencement date has passed.

We are sorry therefore that, whilst we sympathise with your personal circumstances and thank you for your support, we cannot offer you a direct debit payment option for the 2011/12 season.

With kind regards

The real fans who renew regardless get the perks. Perfectly fair.
