Neil is 20 but needs to be careful and learn his lesson from tonight. I don’t know but they may have been a bit of wind up going on by sheff Utd getting into his lughole and he went around fouling

the lad has talent but you need to wise up quickly at this level

But would that not make it a dive or at least not a foul? Players touch each other all the time and it isn’t a foul
Arm round his waist and then an arm on the shoulder it’s clumsy at best and deliberately not playing the ball at worst. I don’t think we can have any complaints with it in honesty.

Just a mistake by Neil then a panicked reaction.

An individual error which was punished by the ref. You can't argue too much with the red card but it's one of those that a yellow might have been shown. No need to be too harsh on Neil. The goal was poor defending but I reckon Patterson could have claimed if we was positive. We've still got a chance to get something from the game.
Nah it was a red card all day long unfortunately. O'Nien was miles away so he was last man.

In all honesty Batth shouldn't have been playing the ball in there. Clear it down the line, but one bed touch and here we are.

I thought he was doing well, the second foul was a brilliant tackle and no way a foul. Just made a bad mistake in the wrong area.

The thing is if you play from the back you want a midfielder to be brave and drop deep to collect it. It's just a harsh learning curve when you choose the wrong decision in there.

Worrying a pro footballer needs to learn hacking someone down 20 minutes in to take a red card isn’t a great decision
