Inexperience cost us.

There’s no way an experienced player does what Dan Neil did in that part of the pitch.

Was always going to be a tough ask but we’ve given them a hell of a hand up now.

Alex Neil must be massively frustrated by the lack of incomings at the club.

Injuries to Ballard and Evans have laid bare the paucity of our squad.

Speakman it’s over to you

An individual error which was punished by the ref. You can't argue too much with the red card but it's one of those that a yellow might have been shown. No need to be too harsh on Neil. The goal was poor defending but I reckon Patterson could have claimed if we was positive. We've still got a chance to get something from the game.

Agreed. Rather he made a mistake trying to be brave than never try it. Horrible pass then a poor decision (followed by a terrible one) but he was playing very well before that.
Definitely not getting on his back but that’s twice this season he’s been caught trying to be fancy as our last man and been caught out.

The QPR game is infuriating, aye, but a complete fluke.

We’ve been more than competing with a Sheffield United team that are expected to be up near the automatic places.

Be frustrated, be annoyed, but people jumping in wanting rid of Neil, Patterson etc every time they make a mistake is pathetic. Many times in Patterson’s case, he hasn’t even made a mistake yet getting stick.
I'm not wanting Rid of anybody but they need to learn quickly. Neil has had more than enough warnings about how he receives the ball this season. I wouldn't be surprised if the manager loses trust in him, he's a liability in his own half.

I expected this team to struggle if I’m honest. I knew very little about the new cb or Simms. Before the sending off we were the better team and carried a bigger threat.

Obviously it will be a struggle tonight but I’m quite positive about this season tbfh.
