I get what you're saying. But a bloke banned for life after his comments on gays/hiv is certainly not going to come across well.

Like I said earlier, he knows a lot of very wealthy people who tell him things. He gets nothing from inside the club.

Aye that was completely out of order, from what others have said!! No denying that.

Ultimately my intrigue comes from his “I hate the smb and won’t come back” then coming back under a different name. Plus the sudden clamour to be itk. Why exactly?

Fair enough, I’ve no reason to doubt that, I’ve also no reason to doubt he’s a sound bloke, you and others like him and vouch for him. I don’t know the bloke, I don’t like or dislike him.

Just very intrigued to the questions I’ve posed. Why say never using the smb again, then use it. Why state not itk, then suddenly become Uber itk. Why not hold his hands up, when the dell stuff didn’t pan out instead of doubling down.

All very strange behaviour.

It was pathetic it was around the time of the dell thing it was at a time when lots of people were joining n606 from here (not me) and lots were criticizing reviver for the dell bollocks ,,he got his mate Armstrong to use the "ban hammer" as he called it ..so yes it was risible and pathetic in equal measure.

The most likely explanation for the Furman whatsapp was that it was a joke between friends, that Reiver read second-hand and took extremely literally.

Because he'd tied his own credibility to it, he was backed into a corner where if it didn't happen, he felt like he'd look daft, even if most of us would have understood if he'd just accepted that it wasn't actually happening. When we questioned him on it, he got defensive and lashed out, which is all kind of understandable. Howeverm, he then spent 6 months saying 'I haven't NOT heard anything' and other cryptic stuff, even when they were dissolving the FPP company and other clear signs it wasn't happening.
