Afternoon Becs, did the letter contain a picture of a speedboat? I was quite hopeful of the bloke at the start of lockdown but he has gone on to prove he is as out of his depth as the rest of themI'm still narked about the furlough. He should have made it mandatory for it to be paid to shielding people who couldn't work from home. Instead he gave employers the option. Mine refused to claim for me, so I lost out on a four figure sum of money that I was entitled to. Every time he was asked about it in the commons etc., he just prattled on about the unprecedented levels of support everyone else was getting. I even wrote to him asking for help and had a personal letter from the Treasury pointing out what he'd done for everyone else. That didn't help people like me at all who were struggling financially. It's like the "lets see what you could have won...." bit on Bullseye![]()
