American Pickers.

I could watch it for days.
I used to be obsessed with this, Storage award, Pawn Stars and Americans Restoration.

Haven’t watched any of them for years though (although my Grandfather-in-law was watching AP when we were there a couple of weeks ago), I think they got a bit repetitive l.

Turn of the last century Arts & Crafts, William Morris, John Ruskin etc

Have you been to Brantwood?

I'm not that fussed about A&C but I've always found Ruskin to be a really interesting bloke and wanted to find out a bit more about him.

The house and gardens are excellent and definitely worth a look.

Ref op : art deco.

wild flowers.
i travel from teesport to the a19 regular in the wagon and going westbound there's a stretch of wild flowers on the grass verge between fox's transport and the univar roundabout that are stunning. whether the council planted the seeds or they're random they're really nice.
i remember a few years back coming from hartlepool to the a19 there were similar flowers all the way along the road. quite stunning tbh.

I was told that the wild flower verges in Hartlepool were a council thing.

I agree they look great. Almost surreally colourful.
