First film I remember seeing Ewan McGregor in, pre dates trainspotting

Really enjoyed it at the time. There were a few decent movies in the mid 90s with the plot centring around ordinary folk acting irrationally when motivated by greed; this one, a simple plan, Fargo

“Chickens Never Walk Backwards”. Was on in our beloved neighbours’ flix with Rocky III (iirc).
searched for it periodically ever since. Tried BBC, BFI, etc., with no joy.
Predated stuff like the office & Royle family by decades. It was mike Leighish but funny.
At least now it shows up on google a bit.
