N'Zogbia Tyne or Wear.

I'd actually agree with you on that Cyril. We'll pay bigger wages and possibly spend bigger transfer fees but Newcastle is seen by players around the world with more prestige and success.

I just don't agree that N'Zogbia would choose Newcastle over Sunderland, quite simply because of the way he left.

Ask a player to choose Sunderland or Newcastle and I'd imagine 7 or 8/10 would choose Newcastle, sadly.

good post mate and I respect that you havnt just come in all guns blazing with the dilusional patter.

I agree on all your points, we have already stated that we are not going to spend huge and prefer to rais europe for bargains. Hopefully more Tiotes less Viannas.

if yous wern't so keen to spin the dilusional line you might actually see my point.

Of course were not going to get back to the glory days of the 90's early 2000's, that is not my point. My point is that if a player cant get a club in the top 6 then it leaves him with the other 14 you mention. Now obviously I'm biased but in that 14 you have us, villa and everton who are bigger clubs. The rest ie yous, bolton, blackburn come in the next tier of clubs.
This isnt a slur on sundreland and im prepared to take the abuse on the chin but this is my opinion.

.
imo your point is flawed.

nufc is now known for utter chaos and a lack of class.

your time has been and gone and will not come back again. christ your all time top scorer period has been and gone, with no trophies won at all.

i am sorry if you think you are classed in the top 8, but it is simply not true.

you have your media friends who keep on peddling this myth and for a time it was swallowed

the reaction to your relegation showed the contempt that was felt by the football loving people of the country

sorry and all that cyril but eventually you will realise that nufc are there to make up the numbers only

one of your criteria for bigger clubs is ground size and attendance. on both those criteria, safc are a bigger club than everton and villa

To be fair though, he's not really saying Newcastle are going to start winning things again, he's just simply saying players would choose Newcastle over SAFC and (N'Zogbia aside) I'd unfortunately have to agree with him.

I tend to find all mags are deluded fat wankers with dodgy facial hair.

Fuck off.

up to you.

he states the criteria for big clubs as partly ground size and attendance, then quotes that everton and villa, which if he sticks to his own criteria, would have safc in that group as in both attendance and ground size, we are bigger than both.

however he states safc are group with bolton, blackburn and so on, but his own criteria for nufc would have safc in their group

it makes no sense, dont you think?

to be honest I think your still looking at this through re n white glasses.

I very rightly class us as amongst the 8 biggest clubs in england.

man u, arse, lpool, chelsea, city, spurs, villa, us,

I dont think thats being controversial or biased by suggesting that. In terms of success your right we are making the numbers up. Only 3 clubs contest this anyway. And when we got relegated of course people cheered, we were a big scalp and when we went down. David and Goliath and all that. For every one who cheered when we went down there was equal ammount cheering when we came straight back up.

Kilgallon preferred SAFC over NUFC, whatever you may think of that.

SAFC fucked the fat bastard Campbell off and he ended up at............Newcastle.

When NUFC went looking for a striker last time round they got Lovenkrands and Leon Best. SAFC got Asamoah Gyan.

Tables are turned, NUFC are cannon-fodder now without a pot to piss in and real fear of 2nd season syndrome.

Truth might hurt the fat Mag twat but facts are facts. N'Zogbia wouldn;t touch NUFC with a bargepole if it came to a straight choice.

you reckon?

your criteria of big clubs, has attendance and ground size in it. you state that nufc, everton and villa, are bigger due to that.

safc have a bigger average attendance and ground than villa and everton

sorry but though cyril, you look through everything with black and white eyes, so just focus them on the fact that safc have bigger crowds and grounds than villa and everton

Guess which one of them has won absolutely fuck all in my lifetime.

You get good crowds that doesn't make you a big club.

Everton are also as big as Newcastle and piss all over them success wise.

controversial or bias?

nice one cyril

to think nufc are where you claim is biased and controversial.

Based on? Crowds - we're above Spurs and Villa and competing with Chelsea. Trophies? We're above City, Spurs, Villa, NUFC, Chelsea on titles won. So what is this criteria you have for 'bigness' you daft twat?

I don't particularly like defending Newcastle supporters, but Kilgallon chose us when we were a Premier League club and Newcastle were in the Championship. Virtually every player would do the same, but if we had both been in the Premier League I dare say it would have been different.

They signed Best in the Championship, Lovenkrands on a free to add to their squad (we're trying to do a similar deal for Bothroyd to boost our options).

We've all said stuff like ''they're cannon-fodder now'' and it's come back to bite us on the arse. I bet if we're both after a European striker and he has a choice between the two clubs he'd end up going their, sorry like, but that's unfortunately the way I see it.

I agree, N'Zogbia wouldn't go near them again.

ok then my small time friend.

give me your 8 biggest clubs in england.

That's not the issue-the issue is why you class the aforementioned clubs in the top 8 ahead of us given their attendances and honours are historically fewer than ours.

The answer, I suspect is, because there is no methodology to it beyond blind Mag obsession and ill-will.

If you answer this with another question, then I'm taking that as an "I can't answer the question".
