Newcastle have had a bid accepted for Sven Botman, however the player is waiting for Milan. Lille are not appreciating the player’s behaviour. Due to the Dutchman’s refusal to join #NUFC after their bid was accepted by Lille, Milan now must quickly close the deal [La Repubblica]
Sounds like he fancies Milano but not sure they’re willing to cough up.
Nee better than Big Dan Burn anyway 😀

There's many big clubs in for him. PSG, Man U. I know money talks but he'll be wanting to play at the highest level. It will probably take the mags 5+ years to even make the champions league.

Your club couldn't be more in bed with the Tories mind. The takeover that you're so happy about happened because our corrupt c*nt of a PM, Boris Johnson personally intervened. Your co-owners are the Tory party's biggest donors...
Can I just stop you there , have you forgotten that we had the Labour MP for Newcastle asking questions in parliament and many more signing and pushing a petition in favour of this shit show so let’s keep your hypocrisy for the politics board . Now carry on ripping into the mags 😉

^ King of the drive has conveniently ignored this it seems.

Agreed - I’m just making the point that you don’t need to break FPP rules to be successful- having said that I’m looking forward to furore when the Mags are nowhere near the top six come December time
Ofcourse by that way of thinking, we could do a Leicester in the near future. The general history of the last 20 years of the premier league though demonstrates how had it is for an also ran to finish top 4 let alone close to the title.
I honestly don’t think they’ll do much better points wise than last season, if at all better. Whilst they are unlikely to have any kind of serious concerns about going down, can see them having a classic midtable style season and having little to play for in the last 10 games, a bit like Brighton and palace just enjoyed.

Agree totally in regard to Wood. Burn & Targett improved us for, in the current transfer market, small fees. Are they top 4/6 players... probably not. We are nowhere near a top 4/6 club though. We may well, in some quarters, expect to be so in the coming years and they may help us progress towards that level. The next step is a solid top 10 challenge, no relegation worries, and with some luck a decent Cup run. With some decent recruitment Burn and Targett will aide that in my opinion so decent enough for now.
Not all of us are expecting M'Bappe just yet Keith.
But you're the richest club in the world!

Or were those fat Geordies with tea towels on their heads and bad B.O. telling lies?

Their club's name is being dragged through mud, they don't seem to mind as long as they're signing players. They do seem to have a deep yearning to be loved and respected though, which isn't going to happen.
spot on mate they are desperate to be loved. they act like they have been born with a gift. as if being from newcastle is something people should be jealous of

their accent intensifies the further away they get from the north east
