Nuclear Convoy

Would they not have to keep switching routes as a precaution? If they took the same route each time, it would make it easier for anyone looking to attack it to pick out a suitable ambush spot?

i doubt a few extra miles of fuel costs matters that much in the overall scheme of things.

geography dictates that there are only a couple of realistic routes though, so they'll be not much variance

far better to just make sure that your convoy is suitably protected - cos if some nutters are crazy enough or well organised enough to want to attack something like this they can surely rustle up enough men to be able to attack on both routes

What a pointless website that is.

“Help us stop these nuclear convoys...by giving us a ring if one passes through your town.”

Exactly. What are they going to do about it? Take offence? Ring their friends? Poo their pants?

They say they want to protect local communities: what are they going to do if for example someone rings them to say there's a convoy going past Sunderland Greyhound Stadium towards Seaburn Dene? How are they going to warn the good people of SR6 before the convoy passes? And what do we in SR6 do to protect ourselves from this huge danger?

They are a bunch of tree-hugging virtue-signalling snowflake pacifist fantasists.

Quite correct but you need to add in social justice warriors and the easily triggered.

Give them credit, they might start a petition.
