Almost none of these checks are for clear and obvious errors. They might as well do away with that rule as never applied in practice. Asking the referee to go to the screen is bollocks as well and puts them in a position where they're almost expected to change their decision.

I agree with @Mackem00, this is what people were screaming for. It is what it is. Can't see football ever going back from here. Personally I'd sack the lot off. Technology should have stopped with goal line decisions.
I never wanted it in the first place. Was obvious how it would go and it was just pandering to crybaby players/managers/supporters who couldn't take it when things didn't go their way. We are where we are and there's no going back now tho sadly.

VAR ramps up the controversy. Time added on ramps up the excitement. It is all deliberate to keep everyone addicted to a multi billion pound industry.

It'll be the last straw for me.

Soon as I find myself not celebrating a goal until the big screen says VAR can't find a reason to disallow it, is the moment I stop going
That worries me, we could, as soon as next season or even This season in the Fa cup, score a historic last minute goal against Liverpool or arsenal only to have hopes dashed minute, that sheer euphoria, like Stewart’s goal against Wycombe, Borini against the mags will never be authentic and Natural again as there’ll be that intrinsic mindset ‘some fucker will try and chalk this off’.
