How many other SMB members not born in the North East but still follow Sunderland?....

I moved up here in the early 90s from Yorkshire. Sat in the away end for many a game as initially couldnt stand the club. Gradually started to go to games with my mates at work, my own club went bankrupt and Sunderland got under my skin.

Love the bones of the place now.

Me dads a Cockney and all his lot are Chelsea.

He took us as kids in the early 90's and never looked back. His older brother still gets annoyed he gave up the blues for us.

Nobody was happier than me dah when we beat Chelsea in 92 and at the weekend.

Which club went bankrupt?

My Dad. Watford were his boyhood team until he moved up here in his late 20's. Think he has had a season ticket since.
