Never had one and never will. Nee idea why anyone pays it....
In the DM article they refer to there is a lass who shopped herself cos she plugged her telly in to watch a single episode of Hollyoaks and then phoned them to report herself

I have one because I use BBC TV, Radio and online content. The same reason I pay for Sky.
I have one because I have too, even though I don't watch BBC they have someone made it law to have one. Justified? (I also pay for Sky)

Listen to BBC, nope.
Read their website, yes, from time-to-time. Pretty sure a tv license is not needed for this!

Correct, but it still needs to be paid for somehow.
Why? Just like some people don't watch Sky Sports, Sky One, Discovery etc etc...
Nothing on the BBC channels interests me.
So does keeping Virgin Atlantic aircraft maintained, but they don't charge us if we don't fly with them.

There's a show that may interest me on BT Sport - should I be forced too pay for BT Sport to watch ANY other TV?
Why? I watch Sky Sports which I pay for.
I'd be more than happy for the BBC to go totally to a subscriber model (and pay a little bit extra for it) IF anyone choosing not to pay was denied all of its services - TV, radio (national and local), website etc.
It should be exactly this way.
You are justifying why you like it. I am asking why I should be forced to pay for it to watch ANYTHING else...such as Sky.
