In the DM article they refer to there is a lass who shopped herself cos she plugged her telly in to watch a single episode of Hollyoaks and then phoned them to report herself
Never had one and never will. Nee idea why anyone pays it....
I have one because I use BBC TV, Radio and online content. The same reason I pay for Sky.
how stupid can you get?! Watching Hollyoaks indeed. In the DM article they refer to there is a lass who shopped herself cos she plugged her telly in to watch a single episode of Hollyoaks and then phoned them to report herself
Single episode as well, no way she'd have made sense of half the storylineshow stupid can you get?! Watching Hollyoaks indeed.
I have one because I have too, even though I don't watch BBC they have someone made it law to have one. Justified? (I also pay for Sky)
So you don't watch anything on the BBC, listen to any of the radio stations or use the BBC website?

Don't need a license for radio or the BBC website
Struggle to believe the "I don't use the BBC" types like.
Correct, but it still needs to be paid for somehow.
Nothing on the BBC channels interests me.
That bit. That's the bit I don't believe. Nothing, ever, across the whole of the BBC?
Hard to believe someone on what is primarily a football board never watch football focus, motd etc
I'd be more than happy for the BBC to go totally to a subscriber model (and pay a little bit extra for it) IF anyone choosing not to pay was denied all of its services - TV, radio (national and local), website etc.
And that's before you look at things like 24 hour news, local news, documentaries, magazine shows and other sports programs.
