Norwich away

Only been once a few years back when we played them in the league cup.

Was in a cracking pub pre match next to a canal. Can't remember its name like but really enjoyed it.

Whenever I think Norwich away it always that game at the beginning of 90/91 season, played really well but got beat 3-2 and Marco scored an absolute screamer in the top corner...Sun was out, drink was flowing...great day...except the result.

Anyone know if trains to Peterborough are likely to be dry trains or does that only come into effect for games into London?
I'd wager the trains back from pboro are the only dry ones, hopefully not though. Never been on a dry train to the south until a fortnight ago so hopefully eastcoast don't do the same

Did a pub crawl there a few weeks back and had a cracking time. Excellent pubs, all seem to do "homemade" pies, locals fine and chatty and didn't meet any bar staff who were anything other than friendly and happy to be serving! Journey home was a bit of a blur - but then we did Finnish the crawl drinking an *% Imperial Stout!

Drink must have been flowing as nowhere near the top corner;)

And them singing 'you're in the wrong division'

Was a brilliant day red hot pulled it back from 0-2 to 2-2 so we started chanting back you're in the wrong division after they had sang it earlier.
Marco considers it his best goal for the lads

Really?! I don't think ive ever seen it since other than live on the day and to this day could have sworn it flew in the top corner. It's a bit of a shame that you never see many of these games since we went down, played some nice stuff that season.

Just called up the ticket office to get mine. They seemed to have plenty left.

My usual pre-match watering hole is the Coach & Horses around the back of the railway station. Away friendly, only a short walk to the ground and they have a great selection of real ales.

I've never been to Norwich before, how far is ground from station? My train gets there for 12.15 so plenty of supping time.

No distance at all (Google Map: https://tracking code removed/maps/EXiup). It's in the middle of an industrial estate/retail park but just follow the crowds and you can't miss it.

Just try not to wander too far into the city centre before the game. There are plenty of drinking establishments near the station and along Riverside.

Cheers mate.
