Had a night out in Norwich when down for Ipswich away. It's a canny night out.

You musn't have been to The Prince of Wales Road then.

Been on nights out all over, Manchester, Leeds, Warrington, Wakefield, London etc' and never have I felt more on edge than I do on that street. Properly weird enclave in an otherwise peaceful city.

I suppose Norfolk's remoteness attracts a load of bellends from the outlying towns and concentrates them all in the same place.

It's years since I was there (iirc Darren Bent scored for Ipswich that day) but it seemed fairly friendly.

Ended up in some club or other and all the blokes there were farmers or inbreds. It was like been Cary Grant for the night by virtue of not having extra fingers on each hand. Doncaster's a similar night out.

Edgiest place I've every drank in is Wrexham. Amazing place. last time I was there, there was a family who started kicking each others heads in at about 2pm. Mams glassing uncles, the lot.

Was just gonna quote you when I seen that! Norwich has decent pubs, grounds allright, only thing i hate is it seems to take ages getting there once you get to Gratnham or Peterbrough
Takes 1.30 hrs from here mate, probably about ten friggin stops anarl no doubt.

That'll be them there fens

is it likely to go to general sale?
Hope so cos I want to go but may have an option of sitting in the home end if I can't get a ticket amongst our lot. Think I'd probably turn it down though tbh.[DOUBLEPOST=1394473521][/DOUBLEPOST]
a1-a17-a47. bit of a clart on like.

just applied and tickets are £25
The journey is shite by car. You turn off the A1 at Newark thinking you must be nearly there and in reality there's still about 3 hours driving.

this is very true, it's even worse if you get stuck behind one of the many tractors.
Don't need to tell me about tractors. I live just on the edge of the fens and they're a fuckin nightmare. Bloody turnip farmers everywhere.

Went a few seasons ago. Decent pubs by the river if i remember correctly, small stadium but good atmosphere. Put my application in on Friday so definitely going back this season.

I've applied and popped into the ticket office today to be told to call back tomorrow afternoon if I want to know if I've been successful.
I need to know so I can get her brother to get me a couple of tickets in the home end (he lives in Kings Lynn).
I went to Norwich a few years ago and it was canny, we had a night out in Spalding on the way back.

I'm going, but heading across from Cheltenham. Christ knows what state I'll be in
