Change of plan now.

Another lad, without a ticket, is travelling with my son from Newark on the train ...... that means I'll probably drive to Norwich from Surrey.

Any ticket/transport options would be appreciated.

Cheaper option might be a day return for Liverpool Street?

Guess it depends on where about in Surrey/how far it is to Liver Street.

Thanks mate, looks a good option.

I could get the train into London from Farnham so I'll check when I'm not driving ;)

£52.30 without a railcard... probably left it abit late for the cheaper fare. Although splitting the journey up might save a few quid..

Get two singles.
The 9 9.30 or 10 Liverpool St to Norwich £17.80.
The 3.30 from Norwich back to Liverpool St £13.30.

I booked the 9.30, after advice from the lads above, but if you're travelling alone I'll switch it to the 8.30.
With a lad from work and meeting my mate and his son on that train, but thanks.
Let's hope we are on the train back with 3 points

Think there's quite a few of us on the 8:30

I'll jump on that one then, I have a very charming manner with ticket inspectors ;)

So you we're so determined not to go for a drink with @TAFKAHM you decided to travel to Norwich from a completely different place:lol:

I've been avoiding the lad for years mate ....... I once actually paid not to go to his meet up in Hawes, seriously.

Anyone know what the driving is like from north London?

Google maps says a couple of hours but a mate told me that the roads near east anglia are bobbins.
