Dan Neil and Patterson are still not yet PL players. Roberts is way short ! Even Clarke isn’t the finished article although probably the easiest to sell.

We have no need to sell any of the big players, another year with us and the values increase. We spent just over £5million last summer and got to the play offs, spend that again, keep what we have and a bit more luck with injuries and there is no reason we should be challenging at the top
Gibbs white is an unbelievable player to be fair and he now proven it in the premier league.I look at Gibbs-White who went for £40 million after a very similar season to Clarke stats wise. He even got knocked out of the play off semi with Sheffield United. Similar ages too. I'd be asking for a similar fee.
Fair enough if their head is turned, then I'd be expecting a transfer request being put in.We have no need, yes. But that doesn't matter. It's about the player. If a player has his head turned, and really has his heart set on leaving, be it for money, or to play in the Premiership, then we have little choice but to get the best deal we can for him. It just doesn't work having an unmotivated, resentful player in the squad. (I posted something similar on ano thread earlier today). Speakman said about a year back in an interview that we won't stand in the way of players ambitions to play at the top level - that was the sort of player we were looking for - those whose ambition matches our own.
Of the 4 mentioned:-
Dan Neil is so Red'n'White through and through that I can't see him wanting to leave now if we don't want to sell him.
Patterson is harder to read, but as a North Shields lad may be similar. I don't think he'd be first choice yet in a Premiership team, and it's slim pickings for game time for a number 2 keeper. And Leicester look likely to be champo next season anyway.
Clarke I can could see wanting to go, and big money being offered him and us.
Roberts said when he arrived he was looking for a home having played for 5 clubs in the previous 4 years before he got here. I think he's appreciating some stability and would proabably be happy to stay another season.
My mistake, just your posting style is remarkably similar to someone else. My apologies, wasn’t trying to be ratty.
I’m sure it’s only a wierd subset on this board that don’t rate Neil. The few times I’ve got to the Sol this season he seems to be adored. My mates in Sunderland all rate him.
I think next year we’ll see the proper benefit of the extra responsibility on his shoulders this season. Expect him to dominate in a way even the simps on here can see his quality
Fair enough if their head is turned, then I'd be expecting a transfer request being put in.
I don't personally think anyone of the 4 mentioned would want to go and will give us another season to see if they can get to the premier league with us
Which lads? While losing Patterson would be a bit shit, the other two young lads in goal are apparently great prospects that are ready for some game time so hopefully they'll fill in well.
Have you worked it outWhat’s his previous login?

Agreed, I think one of Clarke or Patto will go, but not both. Will be sad to lose either.Neil and Roberts will be safe they’re not good enough to move up
This is Sunderland we’re on aboutAgreed, I think one of Clarke or Patto will go, but not both. Will be sad to lose either.
Budgets didn't do Watford and Norwich much good this year.Yeah this, I’d be very surprised tbf too, I think if we are in champ after another season, and there’s a good chance of that considering the budgets of the relegated teams, then a few I’ll leave
Carney and RichardsonWhich lads?
Yeah but this is new Sunderland. This is Sunderland we’re on about
