Non League Football

Canny crowd, shit game. Our finishing was atrocious.
Goodjob we have a good keeper cos our no9 couldn't hit water if he fell off the Shields ferry.
Not only him by the way.
Chance after chance first half, should of been 3-4up half time
You must've been watching a different game to me, thought it was very entertaining and a good game of football. Shields not at their best but you have games like that.
Massanka had an off night but will bang the goals in this season

I was at Esh Winning last night. 2 nil defeat against Redcar Town. Poor showing from Esh who improved a bit after going behind. Not looking good for Esh this season unfortunately

Just back from West Bridgford 6-0 Graham Street Prims in United Counties League Division One. I presume that cricket on the adjacent pitch takes priority on Saturdays in the summer, as WB play all their August home games on Friday nights.

The result was no surprise, as Prims are bottom of the table without a single point this season. Their rather unusual name comes from the fact that they were founded by members of the Primitive Methodist Church in Graham Street, Derby, not far from the old Baseball Ground.

The hosts featured former Sunderland Academy youngster Jordan Lavender on the left of a back three

£365 (three hundred and sixty five pounds) for a season ticket at Pools?

f***ing hell!
Aye if you had one last season (covid season) it was a bit cheaper but new season ticket holders £365. Dad hasn't been well so we didn't bother getting one and will just pick and choose as and when, £365 is ridiculous. They changed the concession age from 60 to 65 as well which has bumped the cost up for my Dad as well.

Just got back from Scarborough after watching South Shields completely dominate a team that will be there or there abouts at the end. Could have been 4-0 at HT but for some very good saves by the Scarborough keeper... As it was they wern t needed as Shields controlled the game from start to finish... Mind you it should have been 3 but for an absolute howler by Osei who missed one of the easiest chances he will ever be presented with lol... My 4 yr old grandson would have scored ... A very good set up at Scarborough and a great crowd in attendance 1824 swelled by at least 500 from Shields

Listened to the Heed commentary this afternoon and they won 2-1. Scored 2 early goals inside 15 mins and then conceded very late, around 80 mins and hung on at the end. 7 Points from 9 so a decent start.

Seriously considering a trip to see them at Southport next weekend as our game v Sheff Wed is off. Like to do a Heed away game every now and again and this is an ex football league ground I have not been to (which is another one of my lists). Might go camping if there is a site nearby and go down Friday night.
Going to watch Ryhope CW tomorrow. My mate plays for them and it’s a 5 minute walk from my house.

May well become a regular thing during an international break
My work colleague plays for the oppo. Newton Aycliffe. He plays in the 10 role roving behind the main striker and at the head of a diamond.

Whats the ground like. Probably the nearest one I have not been to.
