Another cracking non league away day yesterday at Witton Albion v Shields apart from the result. The hosts deserved the victory, Shields didn’t get started until the second half. The killer was conceding straight after they’d equalised. Witton keeper made 2 great saves late on at 3-1 but would have been harsh on them if they'd have both gone in.

decent tbh, was quite impressed. Still working on the stadium mind but can see potential there, especially in that catchment area

Certainly some canny names in the squad. Might take the Mrs (no) to Metro Centre and head over one of these weekends.

And possibly up to 4 National League games having to be postponed due to major problems on the trains meaning the away sides can’t reach their venue

The Dagenham and Redbridge game was called off so their fans came to Telford vs York instead.

Sunderland RCA given a tough Vase second round tie at Hebburn, while Ryhope CW are away to Vauxhall Motors and must stand a decent chance.
West Auckland are away to Bishops in a Derby, with Shildon and Consett also away and Stockton at home to Barnoldswick.

Ryton & Crawcroock Albion v South Shields a hard fought 2 nil win for Shields with some promising performances from the youngsters. A canny little set up and well worth a fiver of anybody’s money. Beats stopping in and watching the Chumpions League.
